This page explains in plain terms what this website and its Android app do with your information. There are no accounts and nothing to sign up for.
Your ticket numbers
The numbers you type into the checker are never saved. They travel to the server inside the body of the request, never in the web address, so they never appear in your browser history or in a link you might share. There is no database table for them at all. The server records only how many tickets were checked, never the numbers, and the logging system blanks out any ticket field as a second line of defence.
What the website keeps on your device
One small cookie, named kl_locale, remembering whether you chose English or Malayalam so the site opens in your language next time. It lasts a year, it is set by this site alone, and it holds nothing but the language code. Nothing else is stored.
Server records
As with any website, your request reaches a hosting provider that keeps short-lived technical logs, including the IP address it came from. Those exist to keep the site running and to investigate faults. They are not used to build a profile of you and are not combined with anything else.
No ads, no analytics, no trackers
This website carries no advertising, loads no third-party scripts, and runs no analytics or tracking of any kind. Nothing about your visit is shared with an advertising network or a data broker.
The Android app
The Android app shows this same website and adds a notification when a new result is published. To deliver those, Google Firebase Cloud Messaging gives your installation a token and records which result notifications you chose to receive. That token identifies a device, not a person — no name, phone number or email is attached to it. The app also reports basic aggregated usage, such as screens opened and notifications tapped, so we can tell whether it is working. Turning notifications off in the app or in your phone settings stops them, and uninstalling the app removes the token.
Other services involved
The website runs on Vercel and its data is held in a managed PostgreSQL database. Results are collected from the official Kerala State Lotteries publication system — this site fetches from them, your browser does not. The Android app uses Google Firebase for notifications and usage reporting. If you follow the support link you leave this site for Buy Me a Coffee, which has its own privacy policy.
Children
This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect anything from them.
Questions, or something you want removed
Write to privacy@keralalotterycheck.com. Because there are no accounts and nothing is kept about you beyond what is described above, there is usually nothing to delete — but ask if you are unsure.
